We have scheduled a flu clinic for children and parents for Saturday, December 4th. We have supplies of injectible vaccine and the intra-nasal vaccine (mist). A flu vaccine is recommended for children over 6 months of age and all adults. There will be a charge of $35 for all adults vaccinated. Call our office to schedule your appointment.
Children 2 years and older can receive the Flu Mist unless they have the following conditions: Asthma, Heart, Lung, Metabolic Diseases, Seizure and Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, GBS, Long Term Aspirin Treatment.
Children 6 months and older can receive the injectible vaccine unless they have a history of serious allergic reaction to eggs or to a previous dose of influenza vaccine, or they have a history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS).

We are now offering NEWBORN CARE CLASSES. The classes are conducted by Melissa Pioreck, RN, and are geared towards newborn parents and expectant parents looking for some extra guidance in feeding, bathing, swaddling and other basic newborn care. The cost is $25.00 per family.
The next classes will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Tuesday October 5th, November 2nd and December, 7th.
We offer lectures to expecting Mothers. The purpose is to provide basic information on infant care. It is an opportunity for the new parent to ask questions of their Doctor. It provides an opportunity to learn what you can and should expect from our practice. Check this space for the next scheduled lecture.

Jog For A Cause North Point Pediatrics is the sponsor of a race to raise money for children's cancer charities. The race is a 5K/10K race with a 1 mile fun run and the 10K is a Peachtree qualifier.
