Welcome to the Shaw Temple Church website. Our motto “Seeing, Speaking, and Serving the Same Vision,” expresses who we are. We are commanded by Christ to go teach and make disciples. The transformation and spiritual growth of individuals is an outgrowth of the work we do at Shaw. We work diligently to bring people to Christ, to demonstrate the glory of God through worship, to show the love of Christ through fellowshipping together, and to disciple those who are within the body of Christ.

Ongoing opportunities to learn and share the gospel, to learn how to disciple others, and to learn how to apply biblical principles in our daily lives are the basis of our training provided through the various church ministries. Through our five fold ministry—Evangelism, Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Service—we are able to accomplish the work of the church. SHAW TEMPLE WOMEN'S MONTH AUGUST 2010
LADIES, LADIES, LADIES! Your voices are needed in celebration of Women's Month in August. Our goal is to have 100+ voices singing praises to God in the Women's Choir. Rehearsals are every Thursday at 7:00p.m.
THE EXTENDED ARMS MINISTRY
In conjunction with the Women's Month are planning to "Share our Faith" with the local community on Sat. Aug 14th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. A practical training session will be held on Wed. Aug 11th at Shaw Temple from 6:30 - 8:30p.m. All are invited to attend.
THE 100+ INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY
A 24-hour prayer wheel every Wednesday in August for Women's Month. Please contact Rev. Kristen Berry at kristenjoy@comcast.net .

THE CLASS LEADER BOARD
Meeting will be held on Sat., Aug 14th from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon in the Bertha Bray Hall. Please plan to attend this important meeting with Pastor Crenshaw.

THE DAUGHTERS OF JUDAH
The Daughters of Judah are recruiting Praise Dancers. All females 18 years and up who are interested in this misistry are asked to contact Beverly Heath at beverlycheath@gmail.com.

New Operating Hours
The new operating hours are Tuesday / Thursday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and 2nd Sundays for one hour immediately following the 11:00 AM service.

A Day in My Shoes Ministry goes out every third Saturday of the month. They meet at the church at 8:30 AM. This year there is an on-going donation drive. The following items are needed: Men's clothing in a variety of sizes from medium to large (jeans, shirts, sweaters, coats and shoes), Women's clothing (pants, shirts, sweaters, coats and shoes) not fancy shoes, but warm durable shoes and hats, scarfs, gloves, socks and toiletries for men and women, bottled water and snacks. Also needed are BLANKETS and BIBLES.
SHAW TEMPLE CHILDCARE

Attention Parents! Childcare is provided Monday through Thursday (evenings) and during the 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM worship services. However, upon immediate conclusion of meetings, bible study, classes and worship services, please go directly to the childcare area without delay to pick up your child / children.
