Emmanuel Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental Baptist church. It is located in beautiful Brunswick, Georgia, at 1010 Old Jesup Road. EBC is an exciting church that truly has a heart for the community and also has tremendous outreach for missionaries around the world. The overall purpose of Emmanuel Baptist Church is to bring glory and honor to God, to bring people to Jesus Christ and help them grow to be more like Him, and then duplicate the process in others. The following is what we love at EBC:
Love God - As believers, we should constantly worship God for who He is and what He has done for us. We worship Him through personal fellowship, obedience, testimony, and song.
Deut. 6:5 "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy might."
Love the Lost - The core focus of EBC is to evangelize and reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to fulfill the great commission, we must be reaching the world around us for Christ.
Matthew 28:19 - "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Love Gods Word - We believe that every believer should have a desire to be more like Christ. In order to accomplish this, believers must learn about His character through a personal relationship with God and His Word. We learn these truths and doctrines through sound Bible preaching and teaching, which will help us grow and develop into vessels that God can use for Christ.
Psalm 119:165 - "Great peace have they which love thy law, and nothing shall offend them."
Love Each Other - God gave everyone special talents to be used for His glory. We try to provide opportunities where people can serve and minister to the body of Christ. We are also to encourage and edify each other in the Lord. This fellowship is an important part of any local church as it helps to create unity and love among fellow believers.
Romans 12:10, "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another."
