The Episcopal Church of Saint John and Saint Mark is a diverse spiritual community. It is based on the principle that we do not presume to judge others but rather seek to honor young and old, male and female. We are unified by the common goal of seeking the love, acceptance, forgiveness and transforming power of Jesus Christ.
We hope that you will accept our open invitation to worship with us. Be assured that you are welcome, valued, and needed in our spiritual community.
Our worship is participatory with congregational singing and said responses from the prayer book. There are readers, ushers, ministers of communion, acolytes, altar guild, and intercessory pray-ers. Both scripture with sermon and communion are offered every Sunday. Prayers for healing are available each Sunday.
Music is a blend of traditional music from the 1982 Hymnal and contemporary from our "Praise Book". We have a keyboard, guitars and bells.
Worship at The Episcopal Church of St. John & St. Mark is liturgical from the Book of Common Prayer 1979. We use Rite II, with a rotation of Eucharistic Prayers and Prayers of the People.
The presence of God is felt by many who enter this sanctuary. This is truly holy ground
