Mr. Maloof's criminal defense practice runs the gamut from federal conspiracy trials to hearings in municipal courts; from murder cases to misdemeanor batteries; from drug cases where the defendant is alleged to have distributed hundreds of kilos of cocaine to misdemeanor marijuana possession cases involving just a few grams. He has defended people charged with white collar crimes, particularly income tax evasion. During the 37 years that he has practiced law, he has successfully represented scores of clients who were charged with DUI (driving under the influence). He has schooled himself in the many and varied technical defenses to the crime of driving under the influence.
He has professional working relationships with prosecutors throughout metropolitan Atlanta. He is a member of the Georgia Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL), and the American Bar Association.
