LOWE AVIATION is a full service Fixed Base Operation that has served Macon, Georgia since 1946. Operating at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MCN), Lowe Aviation handles refueling of transient aircraft and provides a weather and flight planning center, waiting area for passengers, conference room, courtesy cars for pilots, pilots lounges and pilot supplies. Free wireless internet is available throughout our facility.

The Lowe Aviation staff will assist in arranging car rentals, hotel accomodations and catering. Other services include fuel sales for based customers, aircraft rental and sales, as well as general, corporate and T-hangar rentals.
We are open daily from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM local time, and other hours upon request. As a Shell Petroleum Products dealer, personnel are on-call for unscheduled after hours services. Self-service avgas is available on the south ramp 24 hours a day.
We offer several rental aircraft featuring Garmin GPS equipped Cessna 172's and Cessna 182's.

FAA-Certified Repair, Chartered Flights, & Aircraft Sales
Lowe Aviation has been an FAA-approved repair station for over 25 years, and is certificated for general maintenance, 100 hour and annual inspections on most light aircraft.
Our FAA-approved air taxi service provides on-demand air charter for passengers in Beechcraft Baron twin engine, 200 miles-per-hour aircraft or the turboprop, 275 mph Piper Cheyenne II. We are one of the oldest continuously run, family owned air-taxi services in the southeast, and have carried thousands of passengers millions of miles with a perfect safety record.

Lowe Aviation was founded by James T. Lowe in 1946. Upon returning from World War II as a Navy Lieutenant Commander, Jim Lowe's experience as a ferry pilot, coupled with his skills as an instructor prior to the war, made starting a flying service in his hometown an easy choice.
Jim Lowe was a Designated Pilot Examiner from the late 1940's through the 1980's and instructed and issued certificates to hundreds of pilots, which earned him a place in the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame.
