Trinity Lutheran Church exists (1) to bring people to a saving faith in Jesus and fellowship within His family in order that (2) they mature in their Christian walk, (3) as they are equipped for ministry within the church (4) and a life of service to the world (5) which glorifies God.

SATURDAY WORSHIP (PRAISE WORSHIP AND MEAL) Trinity will begin its first Saturday evening worship on October 9th. Designed as a seeker service, the format will be Lutheran but non-traditional. Liturgy will remain a part of our worship, but the music will be more praise oriented. In place of a sermon, Bible studies, first person testimonies, and other approaches to learning the Word will be employed. While there will be no communion offered at this service, those attending are invited to remain for dinner afterward. The service begins at 5:30 with the meal immediately following. Services will be held the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month. Please keep this endeavor in your prayers that it is pleasing to God.

Church Workday: There will be a church workday on Saturday, November 20th from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. to finish up some projects that were not gotten to on the last workday. A light breakfast will be served. Please come out and help us get the buildings and grounds cleaned up.

Shoe Boxes for Christmas: The Board of Christian Education will be collecting gift packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child through 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21st. Please place donations of packed boxes in the large basket in the Gathering Room. Brochures with a list of acceptable items to include are available in the Gathering Room. Please include a check for $7 made out to Samaritan's Purse for the shipping cost.

Thanksgiving Eve Service: Trinity will have a Thanksgiving Eve Service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24th. The Board of Christian Service asks that everyone please bring a nonperishable food item for the food bank. The service will be followed by a pie potluck. Please bring your favorite pie to share.

One 10:00 a.m. Service: Trinity will hold a Hanging of the Greens service at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 28th. This service is designed to help us understand the symbolism and meaning of the decorations we place in our Sanctuary each year. All Sunday School Classes will be held at 9:00 a.m. on this day. The service will be followed by a potluck luncheon hosted by the Board of Christian Service. Fried Chicken will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share.
