Your wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, corporate meeting, recognition dinner or other special celebration at Something Special will encompass a personal touch that will set it apart from other gatherings. You'll sense the difference as soon as you step off Greenville Street, where Newnan's finest mansions have stood the test of time here in "The City of Homes." Pause and marvel at the extensive gardens surrounding the mansion. Michael Meyer, your host, is a certified Master Gardner. He has thoughtfully designed and nurtured the landscape to enchant the senses in every season.

Warm weather delights the eye with azaleas, hydrangeas, thousands of daffodils, 200 varieties of daylilies, irises, roses and more. The riot of color will be the perfect backdrop for you and your guests. Imagine relaxing here as you and your guests marvel at nature's beauty.

Throughout the year, the weathered beauty of an antique brick patio, a charming koi pond complete with waterfall, and a Victorian gazebo will draw you and your guests to nature's splendor. Trees sway gently in the breeze, shading the summer gardens, exploding in a blaze of color in the fall, and forming a lacy silhouette of bare branches in the winter as dramatic lighting highlights their sculptural splendor. With the use of a tent your special event can extend outdoors no matter what the weather which accompany your all-inclusive package!

Now, step inside," where new discoveries await. The entry foyer intrigues with its winding staircase and impressive crystal chandelier. On either side, you will see the parlors, ready to welcome your guests with comfortable, stunning antique furnishings, tiled fireplaces, ornate woodwork, stained and leaded glass windows, and objects d'art. Two dining rooms, a music room outfitted with a baby grand piano and a grand ballroom complete the space available for your special event. Something Special can accommodate up to 150 guests for a sit-down dinner or 200 people for a hors d'oeuvres buffet.

Your host has artfully blended antebellum southern architectural grandeur and antiquities with his own fascinating collection of personal artifacts—many of them family keepsakes from his native Indiana roots. When combined with the personal attention and impeccable service that you will receive from Michael and his talented wedding coordinators and caring staff.
