I want to thank you for your interest in this faith community. It is our mission to build the Kingdom of God through a tapestry of ministries designed to connect people to Jesus in order to transform their life stories. What this means is that there are a lot of different ministries in this place, but all the ministries are here for the same purpose - that we might all grow closer to Jesus and experience life transformation as a result.
We are a learning community. We have invested ourselves into educating young people. We offer Children's Corner Early Childhood Education for preschool children, starting as young as six weeks. We provide Christian education for elementary school children through Carman Adventist School, located on our campus. And this year we are adding to our campus Christian secondary education through a partnership with Atlanta Adventist Academy. But it is not just learning for children that we care about. We seek as a people to be life-long learners as well.
We are a loving community. We love to get together and share our lives with each other. This is a growing area of emphasis and ministry in our church, and an area we would love you to come and join. As the Apostle John said, in his first letter to the churches [I paraphrase], "make our joy complete by coming and being a part of the people of God." We are building a community where you can come and belong.
We are a living community. We believe that the power of God does not end with the forgiveness of sins, but extends beyond in order to rescue us from wasted lives now. This is why our mission refers to transformed life stories. Don't worry, this is not a works oriented stance. Rather it is a practical help for life stance. We don't believe Jesus, after forgiving your sins, intends to leave you stuck in the mud of a life of pain and sorrow. We believe He has real answers for your life, right now, answers that will give you the life you long for, answers that will transform your family, answers that will make your life so much more worth living.
We exist to build up God's Kingdom. So come build with us.
May God bless you,
