Thursday Night Ladies Book Club
On Thursday, Dec. 2nd at 7:00 p.m. we will have our last discussion of "Margin: Restoring Emotional, Physical, Financial,and Time Reserves to Overloaded Lives" by Dr. Richard Swenson.
Women's Morning Bible Study
Ladies Bible Study each Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Presented by Sparkles Ministry and led by Rev. Carol Brown.
Men's Prayer Breakfast
All men of the church are invited to join us for breakfast each Wednesday at 7:00 a.m. at Magnolia Bakery on South Old Peachtree in Duluth. We are now reading and discussing Dietrich Bonhoeffer's "Letters and Papers from Prison".
Be in prayer now about how you might give to this special offering. Parkway will receive the offering November 7th through December 31st.
80% to the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global Missions Offering to support our missionaries around the world.10% to missions in India supported by Parkway Baptist Church. The first 1/3 of this amount will be sent to an orphanage visited by our mission team. The second 1/3 will fund the gift of sewing machines that allow young Indian women to support their families through this cottage industry. The final 1/3 will fund bicycles for young evangelists in India who will return to their home villages to preach the Gospel.5% to HisNets, a ministry that supplies malaria-treated mosquito nets in India. Did you know that more children will die from malaria this year than HIV/AIDS? Bags of Blessings
Now through November 21st, you can choose a 'Bag of Blessing' to fill and bring to our Thanksgiving Dinner Potluck luncheon on Sunday, November 21nd. The bags will be in the narthex and on the Mission's table. We want to thank God for the blessings in our lives and to share them in a tangible way with the ladies at Wellspring Living and Breakthru House.
