What's New at Atlanta Sewing Center
Can you believe the summer is over? The weather is cooling off (thank goodness), the kids are back in school and here at ASC our fall class schedule is well under way. Here are just a few highlights from this past summer and for this coming fall.
The news is out. Our Duluth store will be relocating January 2011 just 2 miles north at the intersection of Satellite Blvd. and Duluth Hwy. (Ga.120) just one block West of exit 105 off I-85. At the same time we will expand into a full line of quilt fabrics, heirloom quality batiste and a wide selection of embroidery blanks from all about blanks and more. The new location will encompass a whole new selection of products in a retail environment that will make shopping at ASC a real pleasure. Build out will be taking place soon and we will keep you updated on our facebook page as time goes on.
This summer has set yet another milestone for ASC. We attended both Bernina and baby lock dealer conventions this summer and brought back top 5 dealer awards from both. This marks the 6th year in a row we won top dealer awards with 2 major sewing machine companies making ASC the only independent sewing machine dealer in the eastern U.S. to do so. We at Atlanta Sewing Center as always are grateful for having such wonderful customers that made this possible.
We have several new model machines you must see. First baby lock has introduced the new symphony. Quilters will go wild for the new symphony with features quilters will love. Also we have the new Crown Jewel, a 18” long arm quilting machine and a new 10’ all metal quilters frame from Grace company. The ellisimo has a new upgrade and the new 10 needle embroidery machine, the enterprise, for which you can trade in your old BMP6, 8 or brother to get even greater savings
From Bernina we have the new 3 series, full feature, Swiss quality machines with light portable size and very affordable prices. With the 830, look for a series of free (or very low price) classes that will give you a chance to experience the 830 first hand. Once you do, we know you will want one. We also have the 820 with a 12” long free arm, built in walking foot and the largest bobbin of any home sewing machine in the world. I could just go on and on about the wonders of the 820, but I have only one page so you have to come in to see it for your self.
We have some lovely new silk fabric kits at our Duluth store. These kits contain at least 15 pieces of luxurious Dupioni silk. Come in and see the quilt and hand bag we made with these kits and we’ll give you the free pattern (a $9.00 Value) when you purchase the fabric kit.
Even your sewing machine or serger needs a home. We just got in a large selection of carrying cases from bernina , baby lock, totto and other suppliers. Come on in and check out the selection. I’m sure you’ll find a home for your machine.

October is sew pink month, so look for special events during the month as we at Atlanta Sewing Center, along with our partners at Bernina and baby lock, work to help bring an end to breast cancer.
