Packing and LoadingYour North American drivers and packers do more than just drive the moving truck and fill in the moving boxes. Drivers and packers are professional movers in charge of all aspects of physically moving your belongings. This includes protecting your important items with coverings to prevent damage, preparing a detailed inventory of items to be moved, and labeling all moving boxes and furniture with coded stickers to account for everything. After ensuring that your items are properly packed and inventoried, our packers load your moving boxes and items into the moving truck.
Once our packers have loaded all of your possessions, our drivers will provide you will a bill of lading, or shipping contract. If you cannot be present at the time of loading, you'll need to arrange for a responsible person to act as your agent in signing both the bill of lading and the inventory list.
