At Crossroads Treatment Centers, the promise we make to you is simple, yet powerful: We will treat you like family, with compassion and respect.
We are a nationally-accredited, medication-assisted, out-patient program that delivers fast, effective and affordable treatment for persons suffering from addiction to opiates.
Crossroads vs. In-patient Programs: The Crossroads team of experienced doctors, nurses and therapists provides passionate care in an outpatient setting. In-patient programs tend to be very expensive and the in-patient recovery environment is artificial. In contrast, our program is much more affordable than the typical in-patient program. Plus, by helping our patients to recover in their normal, real-life environments, we do not see the frequency of relapse issues that many patients see when they leave in-patient programs and return home to their normal, day-to-day existence.
Crossroads vs. Methadone-only Programs: Many opiate treatment programs only offer Methadone. While we are blessed to have medical professionals on our staff with very extensive Methadone experience, we also have vast experience prescribing Suboxone. We have been treating opiate dependence with Suboxone from the very earliest days that it was approved by the FDA. Our vast experience with multiple medications gives our patients more choices for treatment.
Crossroads vs. Doctors offices: Certified MDs can prescribe Suboxone, but its use for detoxification is still fairly new. Most doctors that prescribe Suboxone do so as a side business. In contrast, we are specialists. Opiate addiction is all we treat. Counseling is widely known to be essential to success in overcoming opiate addiction. Despite the vital importance of counseling, physician offices typically do not offer counseling services. Unlike physician offices, we blend counseling with medicine and offer these services under one roof. Our emphasis on counseling helps drive our 92% success rates.
The treatment process begins with a simple phone call to determine whether the Crossroads treatment program is right for you or your loved one. A caring, experienced staff member will explain the Crossroads treatment program in detail and ask routine screening questions to be sure the patient is a good candidate for the Crossroads program. We offer three treatment tracks and can provide patients with either Suboxone Therapy or Methadone Therapy, depending upon the patients specific needs and circumstances. No matter which treatment track you choose, we will be your dedicated recovery partner. Our team will provide you with individualized support and is on call for you 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
During your initial appointment we will complete a thorough evaluation and develop a personalized treatment plan that is custom-tailored to guide your recovery. Soon after your initial dose of medication, you will realize that the medication is very effective at helping to eliminate your cravings and alleviate the other physical symptoms of your withdrawal.
Thereafter, depending upon your treatment plan, you may complete your remaining treatment from home (Rapid Recovery Program) or, as is much more likely, you will return to our office on an ongoing basis to work with our staff and to participate in counseling designed to help you address the underlying issues that drove your addiction in the first place. Throughout your treatment our staff closely monitors your progress and is always "on-call" to ensure that all concerns are met with care and attention. Your complete recovery is our top priority.
