What is an Endodontist
“Endo” is the Greek word for inside and “odont”is the Greek word for tooth. Endodontic treatment treats the inside of the tooth.
Endodontists are dentists with a degree in the specialized field of endodontics. To become an endodontist, 2 or more years of advanced training are required upon the completion of dental school. Endodontists perform routine as well as difficult and very complex endodontic procedures including root canals and endodontic surgery.
