Cherokee Coins began operations in 1972 in the Buckhead section of Atlanta. We were there for 16 years doing business as a coin and bullion store. In 1985, we moved to Alpharetta and continued to be a major player in the Southeast for U.S. coins and gold, silver and platinum. In 1990, we added a loan department to our company. We wanted to diversify our business and we had many of our customers request this type of service. Many people needed a trusted source to sell or take out a loan on their gold, diamonds, watches, and cars. This has allowed us to continue to increase our customer base. We now include buying and selling diamonds, jewelry and fine watches. We specialize in pre-owned Rolex watches and we are one of the most respected dealers in the Southeast.
