The Mission of The Retreat of Atlanta
Our goal is to place you in the best facility possible so that you can heal and find long-term healing. If you visit one of our facilities or another, we will assist anyone who approaches us in finding the best place for them to recover.
Our team is here to represent you. Our mission is to assist you in overcoming the challenges or roadblocks that you can encounter during your early recovery. Although dealing with some problems alone can be overwhelming, our team can work with you on legal, financial, technical, or other issues. We will assist you in thriving during your early recovery.
Our Rehab Programs
Our team is well-versed in drug abuse care as well as co-occurring mental health conditions. These abilities allow us to meet our clients’ physical needs during detox while also treating their mental health issues. We will help our clients lay the physical, emotional, and mental groundwork for a stable recovery life. Our team will provide you with the structure you need to live a life free of alcoholism, drug addiction, and mental illness.
Individuals with a primary mental health condition may also receive residential mental health disorder care at our Atlanta clinic. We can assist you if you are suffering from depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. When you come to us, if you are in a crisis, we are here to help you get through it. We will keep you healthy and protected as you recover until you regain your strength.

The Detox Process at The Retreat of Atlanta
During care, you or a loved one can create a customized treatment plan. You will have regular meetings with our multidisciplinary team, which includes licensed clinical therapists, mental health technicians, and a nursing staff that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Detoxification is the first step toward long-term sobriety.
The toxic chemicals from substance use are eliminated from your body as you detox from drugs and alcohol. Though withdrawal symptoms are possible, a prescription detox program is intended to provide relief during the sometimes painful acute withdrawal phase.
The Retreat of Atlanta physicians and nurses can meet the personal needs through drug stabilization as well as regular individual therapy sessions. If you need detox from alcohol, opioids, prescription medication, or a combination of these substances, our team is available around the clock to ensure your wellbeing and comfort.
If you need medication for an alcohol or drug use disorder, we will walk you through the stages of early recovery. You will not be discharged from our inpatient recovery detox center without a customized aftercare plan. This involves referrals to higher levels of behavioral therapy services at Georgia drug treatment rehabilitation centers.
