CHRISTMAS WITH LAKEMONT- Come join the Lakemont family as we celebrate the birth of our Savior through out the month of December. Every Sunday night there will be a musical celebration, December 5th- Advent Musical Celebration, December 12th- Christmas Cantata “Triumph Over Tragedy”, December 19th Christmas Candlelight Service and Caroling. NO EVENING SERVICE DECEMBER 26th OR JANUARY 2nd.
PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES- Sunday Afternoon Revival Prayer- From 3:30 to 5:30 PM in the Adult ED. Building of Lakemont, join families of the Church as we pray for revival! Monday Morning Prayer- At 10:45 AM, Join the staff in prayer every Monday morning at the Church, M.E.N.- At 8:30 AM Men are invited every Saturday to come to the church for breakfast and prayer, First Monday Prayer- December 6th at 7:00 PM at Lakemont, come pray for our country and politicians on a national and local level. Missions Prayer- Monday, December 13th at 7:00 PM at the home of William and Jenkie Hatcher, join us as we pray for missions in Augusta, in America and missions all over the world.
KEENAGERS CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON- For those sixty and over we will meet at Lakemont on Thursday, December 9th at 11:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for wonderful fellowship with dear friends! Please call Georgia Alewine if you are able to help prepare a part of the meal or can volunteer in any way.
DECORATING THE CHRISMON TREE- What’s a Chrismon Tree? Come on Friday, December 10th at 7:00 PM and find out! Come see the ornaments placed on the tree and learn what they mean. Bring a friend and join us as we prepare our sanctuary for the celebration of the Christmas Season. Cookies and Cider will be served.
WIC CHRISTMAS LUNCH- Saturday, December 11th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Join us in Fellowship and joy on the 11th. Lakemont’s own Traci Richardson will be our speaker. Bring your mother, daughter, sister or friend, all ladies are invited. Please RSVP on the WIC bulletin board. The cost is $5.00 per person.
YOUTH PROGRESSIVE DINNER- LYM high school and middle school students are invited to the LYM Progressive Dinner starting at 6:00 PM on December 15th at the Lakemont Youth House. Your attire is dressy to formal and you should bring a $5.00 silly present that could be for a guy or a girl. If you are interested in having one part of the dinner at your house please contact Krystal ASAP! An RSVP is appreciated by December 13th.
AGAPE SINGERS- Singers??? Yes AGAPE Singers are needed on December 18th at 3:00 PM. We will meet up to go caroling in our two neighborhoods that we love on East Boundary and hopefully some of our favorite Kid’s Club Participants will join us as we sing of God’s greatest gift! Call Krystal Lyon if you are interested in helping out on the 18th or want to be a part of AGAPE’s monthly service projects!
