Summer’s Landing Northland, an Assisted Living Community, offers its residents affordable elegance with a Southern-inspired, home-like atmosphere much like a stay in a gracious bed and breakfast. Located in one of Atlanta’s most prestigious neighborhoods with numerous medical facilities, restaurants, shopping centers, houses of worship, theaters, and cultural and arts facilities nearby, the three-story building offers one-bedroom and deluxe suites, with or without private balconies.
We provide Assisted Living, Secure Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care, and Respite Care services that are built on a commitment to our residents and their families to foster an independent and active lifestyle, while maintaining a consistent quality of life. We take special care and consideration of each resident’s emotional, social, dietary and physical needs, and realize that because no two people are alike our services are uniquely tailored for each resident. By creating a wide range of choices, we not only offer solutions for today, but also provide the security of knowing that there are options for tomorrow as well.
Our community has two distinct levels of care:
THE LANDING, a home-like 42-unit Assisted Living community with one-bedroom apartments and studios, includes living rooms with fireplaces, televisions and media, and large windows; group dining areas with comfortable seating to foster social engagement and friendship; as well as a library, hobby/exercise room, full-service beauty/barber shop, wellness center and other activity and gathering areas.
THE COVE, a 10-unit Memory Impairment and Dementia Care community, includes indoor enrichment activities and safe indoor/outdoor activity areas. Our rooms offer peace-of-mind security and specially-designed environments that look and feel like home.
Our professional staff of Resident Service Leaders will meet privately with each resident’s family to develop an individualized service and care plan.
At Summer’s Landing, we have a robust activities program and strongly encourage ongoing family participation at community socials and holiday events, as well as active participation in support groups and volunteer opportunities.
