Management of acute conditions such as allergies, bronchitis, ear infections, sore throat, headache, chest pain, abdominal pain, urinary tract infections, hemorrhoids, back pain, joint pain, tendonitis, bursitis, skin rashes and many others.
Management of chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, high cholesterol, ADHD, arthritis, allergies, asthma, chronic lung disease, osteoporosis and many others.
Other children's health services including well child exams & immunizations.
Special women's health services including birth control planning, Pap smears and pelvic exams.
Men's health care including cancer screening tests.
Smoking cessation and weight management.
In-office Diagnostic Services such as EKG, pulmonary function testing, blood/urine tests as needed, hearing and vision screening.

What is a board-certified Family Physician?
A Family Physician is a doctor specializing in treating the whole family. Family Physicians complete a three year residency program and are Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Family Physicians are required to re-certify every seven years.

Participating Insurance plans
We accept many insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Coventry, United Health Care, Tricare, Multiplan, Humana, Evolutions and many others. Please contact our office to see if our office is a participating provider with your plan.

You may call 678 388 2184 to make appointments. We can usually see you the SAME DAY if needed.

Appointment No Shows and Cancellations
Kindly notify us 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your appointment. This will enable us to give that time to another patient. We reserve the right to terminate our relationship as a result of repeated missed appointments and late cancellations.

We are closed from 12 to 12.30 PM for lunch
At other times, you may leave us detailed information on our voice mail system.
Appointments are scheduled calling 678 388 2184 or requesting it online through your secure password protected patient portal.
After hours/ 24 Hour Coverage
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go immediately to the nearest emergency room. Should you have an urgent medical need that cannot wait until regular office hours, our automated telephone service will forward the message to Dr.George during the hours the office is closed. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. Dr. George is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.

Dr. George does not admit to the hospital. In the event that you require hospitalization, we coordinate admissions to Northside Hospital Cherokee and Wellstar Kennestone Hospital by the hospitalists who are physically present in the hospital 24/7. A "hospitalist" is a specially trained physician devoted exclusively to the care of hospitalized patients. The "hospitalist" will care for you during your hospital stay and then refer you back to us for continuing medical care.
